Carson Beck spoke publicly to her separation from Hanna Cavinder for the first time.
The quarter-back at the University of Miami was first linked to the former Hurricanes women’s basketball star and social media influence in the summer of 2024 before confirming in August, but the couple separated earlier this year in the spring.
Beck described the situation as “difficult” in a new ESPN article.
“You make mistakes as a person, but it fears that you have to go through something like that with someone who is close to your heart, and now it’s everywhere on the internet,” said Beck. “Half of what you see in the media is true. Half of what you see is not true. So people choose their side of history and run with it. The people who know the truth know the truth. But it was difficult.”
Beck and Cavinder have not spoken since the breakup, according to the article.
Rumors of rupture began to swirl in March when Cavider wiped its social media cleaning all the references to Beck.
In April, Cavinder said she was the only one to break up with Beck in a video published on the Kai Trump Youtube page. She added that she had not broken with him either for rumors of cheating.

Before the split, Beck had been transferred to Miami after a disappointing season of 2024 with Georgia, which included a UCL tear at the end of the season.
Beck has played well this season for the Hurricanes, already launching 972 yards and seven affected in four games, while helping to lead Miami to an undefeated season and a n ° 3 ranking.
