In the documentary, the Real Housewives of New York City Star recalled when Anthony learned his aunt Jackie Kennedy Onassis“Cancer diagnosis. “It was very traumatic because, at that time, my fiancé was fighting against cancer,” she said. Anthony, who had a recurrence of testicular cancer at the time of their commitment, was struggling with news when Jackie received his own diagnosis of non -Hodgkinian lymphoma in 1994.
Carole, 61, described a poignant phone call between the two. “I remember he said,” Ok, you’re leaving first. ” SO, [Jackie] said, “I have bad news that I have received a diagnosis of lymphoma,” she says. Jackie’s condition worsened quickly. The end [for Jackie] came fairly quickly. I remember that it was a Sunday where we were all together and [by] Thursday, she died.
Carole shared that after the death of John and Carolyn, all she could think was: “I’m going to be the only one [of us] LEFT.”
