Cards show a risk of flooding for the Boston region from torrential rains in Thursday weather forecasts

The WBZ weather team highlights Thursday as a next day of meteorological alert, as heavy rains in forecasts present a risk of flooding for the Boston region.
We expect the heaviest to arrive just before dawn and continue until noon. Torrential precipitation and localized floods will not occur everywhere, but nearby areas and south of the mass pike have a much higher threat.
