Cardinals quarterback Murray to miss practice with foot injury

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray will miss Wednesday’s practice with a foot injury.
Murray appeared to be injured in the third quarter of his Week 5 game with the Tennessee Titans during a bizarre play in which a shotgun snap hit him in the face, leading to a fumble recovery for Tennessee.
The Cardinals made a series of mistakes as they surrendered a 21-3 lead to lose 22-21 at home to the previously winless Titans.
After losing three straight games to fall to 2-3, the Cardinals desperately need a win to prevent their position in a loaded NFC West division from becoming more desperate.
They face a tough task in Week 6 as they travel to take on the 4-1 Indianapolis Colts.
And Murray’s participation currently appears in doubt, with head coach Jonathan Gannon saying the 2019 No. 1 overall pick is taking the injury “day by day.”
Veteran backup Jacoby Brissett will get the start if Murray can’t play against Indianapolis.
