Cardi B’s BFF Explains Why the Rapper and Her Newborn Son Didn’t Spend Christmas with Stefon Diggs
Cardi B’s best friend Ken Barbie has opened up about why the rapper’s boyfriend Stefon Diggs didn’t spend Christmas with his girlfriend and their newborn son.
“Cardi has her own kids, so does Stefon,” the blogger born Ken Davis tweeted Saturday, referring to the “Bodak Yellow” star’s three older children, Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 1.
“If baby mamas say ‘my kids can’t come unless I’m here,’ then that’s exactly what it is, but my nieces and nephews won’t be there,” he added, referring to Diggs’ children with multiple wives.
“There are no secrets, no surprises. They’re still a relatively new couple, so we’ll just have to figure that out over time. It is what it is.”
In another tweet, Ken addressed the news that the New England Patriots star had fathered multiple newborns within months of each other.
“Besides, none of this is new. You’ve all been talking about these other kids all year, why are we acting in shock?” he wrote.
“If Stefon didn’t spend the holidays with his kids, it would be crazy. Cardi has three other kids, and who talks to them about all these different energies?” Ken added.
“There’s really no breaking news here, but I’m glad you can finally wrap this up in a hurry as the new year approaches. NEXT.”
Ken also tweeted that Cardi, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, would “never let a man not recognize or be there for his children.”
“It’s not her fault she’s famous, the one people are actually looking for, and his girlfriend,” he added.
Over Christmas, Diggs, 32, skipped the holiday with the Grammy winner and their son, who was born last month.
Instead, the NFL star spent the holiday with some of the mothers of his other children, two of whom are less than a year old.
In the blink of an eye, Diggs held his baby boy, who he shares with K’yanna Barber.
In a second image, the athlete snuggles up to his daughter, whom he shares with Cayy Benji.
Diggs also posted a video of himself dancing with his 2-year-old daughter, Shiloh, who he welcomed with Kennedy.
Diggs then reposted a photo of Cardi holding their son, which she appeared to take at her home.
The “WAP” host, 33, and Diggs first fueled romance rumors in February of this year and went Instagram official with their love in June.
In September, Cardi, who is currently going through a divorce from rapper Offset, revealed that she was pregnant and expecting her first child with Diggs.
Meanwhile, last month, the former Houston Texans player was confirmed as the father of Instagram model Aileen Lopera’s baby, Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, after she filed a paternity suit against Diggs.
Lopera didn’t appear to be at Diggs for Christmas.
The wide receiver is also dad to his 9-year-old daughter, Nova, who he reportedly welcomed with ex Tyler-Marie in October 2016.
