THE Canada Super 60 2025 has been launched as an exciting new cricket festival in the T10 format, featuring international stars and domestic talent in a fast-paced, action-packed tournament. Played entirely inside Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium, this event marks an important milestone in the evolution of North American cricket.
Canada Super 60: format and teams
The 2025 edition includes six men’s teams – Brampton Blitz, Mississauga Masters, Montreal Royal Tigers, Toronto Sixers, Vancouver Kings and White Rock Warriors – as well as women’s teams Vancouver Thunderbirds and Toronto Sixers. Each match is played over 60 balls (10 overs) per team, ensuring pace and non-stop entertainment for fans. The event runs from October 8-13 and features 19 matches, including group stage showdowns, semi-finals and a grand final on the closing day.
The round-robin format ensures that each team plays multiple matches, with the top four advancing to Monday’s semifinals and the winners meeting in the final. With matches scheduled throughout the day and evening, the tournament promises non-stop action and short-format fireworks rarely seen in Canadian cricket.
