Callum Wilson leaves Newcastle

Callum Wilson says that Newcastle will always hold a special place in his heart after choosing to end his five -year fate on Tyneside.
Wilson would have offered a payment agreement for remuneration, but he refused it and will try to find a new club before the start of the season.
The 33 -year -old man joined Newcastle de Bournemouth in 2020 for reported costs of 20 million pounds Sterling and scored 47 goals in 113 games in all competitions.
The striker in the grip of injuries said to the club’s official website: “It’s time to say goodbye after a few incredible years in the Toon.
“Thank you for everything. We kept strong together through the ups and some stockings to help the club discover new heights.
“I am so proud to have wore the emblematic shirt number 9 and to have added a little more history. Marking it at the Gallowgate End is really as special as they say.
“All good things end, but there is no doubt that Newcastle United will always have a place in mine and the hearts of my families.
“Thank you for the memories.”
Callum Wilson confirmed that he was leaving Newcastle United after five seasons at the club.
