Callum Simpson vs Troy Williamson date, venue and broadcaster announced

British, Commonwealth and European super middleweight champion Callum Simpson, 18-0 (13 KOs), will return once more before the end of the year.
The undefeated 29-year-old has already had a busy 2025 with wins over Steed Woodall, Elvis Ahorgah and Ivan Zucco respectively. The latter earned Simpson the European title at Barnsley FC’s Oakwell Football Ground, but also served as a farewell between promoter Boxxer and Sky Sports whose broadcast deal ended.
Ben Shalom now has the eyes of the UK on his stable as Boxxer joins forces with terrestrial giant BBC. And on December 20, Simpson will fight live on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer as he defends his titles against English champion Troy Williamson, 21-4-1 (15 KOs), at the First Direct Arena in Leeds.
Simpson vs. Williamson has been the champion’s favorite defense since Williamson, 34, upset the odds against Mark Dickinson in September. “Trojan” Troy now has the chance to become British two-weight champion after winning the Lonsdale super-welterweight title in a thriller against Ted Cheeseman four years ago.
Boxxer should have started life with the BBC last month with the vacant British heavyweight title fight between Frazer Clarke and Jeamie TKV. The latter’s injury, however, delayed the fight and now takes place on November 29 from Vaillant Live in Derby.
