Cal women’s water polo schedule announced for 2026


The Golden Bears are hosting the 2026 MPSF tournament at the Spieker Aquatic Complex.

The 2026 California women’s water polo schedule includes a number of marquee events set to take place at the Spieker Aquatics Complex as the Golden Bears look to extend their streak of NCAA tournament appearances. Cal opens the 2026 competition on the road in Fresno for action at Polopalooza on January 17-18. The early season highlight for the Bears will bring seven teams to Berkeley for the ninth annual Cal Cup, which will take place Jan. 24-25 at the Spieker Aquatics Complex. The high-profile invitational will include host Cal as well as Fresno State, Long Beach State, San Jose State, Stanford, UC Davis, UCLA and USA Academy. The Bears have three MPSF regular season matchups on deck in Spieker, with UCLA (Feb. 21), San Jose State (March 7) and Indiana (March 21) in town.

A major road meet is planned for the Bears at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational (Feb. 13-15) in Irvine, as well as key MPSF visits to USC (March 28) and Stanford (April 4).

A ticket to the NCAA tournament is up for grabs in Berkeley during the MPSF tournament, which the Bears will host April 10-12 at the Spieker Aquatics Complex. The three-day event will conclude with crucial placement matches on April 12, with schedules still to be announced.

UC San Diego will host the 2026 NCAA Tournament, taking place April 24-26 at Canyonview Pool.
