The Puerto Rican rapper Eladio Carrión did not hold back during the last night stop on his Don Kbrn tour at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Although this is not the first time that the rapper has performed in New York, it was his first official show of the arena in the city – and he wanted him to be bigger than ever.
The danny towers upright act heated the crowd with a mixture of songs from his latest album Fisherman which includes collaborations with Carrión on the tracks “Crush” and “Asap”. Soon, Carrión went on the stage by wearing a silk costume with a red dragon embroidered on his back, slipping next to the dancers who played the role of Mafioso Goons as they started the show with a street fight from the start of a film.
During the two -hour performance, Carrión seemed really excited to be on stage and connect with fans. Throughout his set, Carrión revisited the avenues of his first projects such as Boyz sauce,, KBRN Sen2 Vol. 1And Monar, Everything that dropped to the pandemic and helped put his name on the map. During the second act, the other Puerto Rican singers Justin Quiles and Lenny Tavares interpreted a mixture, including “Conexion” and “So Si.” Fans received a last surprise when the young Miko joined the rapper for their spouse “AMG”. She even launched in one of her own successes, “Wassup”, before sharing a hug with Carrión.
Carrión entered the scene of the Latin trap in the advanced era of the late 2010s. While several of the colleagues he invented continued to experiment with different sounds, and a new harvest of rappers, like Dei V, Omar Courtz and Vei Habache, infused the genre with their own unique twists and turns, Carrión offers fans reliable continuity in the sound that remains fresh and authentic. He also took a moment to shout his mother and father who were present. Overall, it was Carrión to his purest.
