“I really didn’t want Tara to be bad, and it would have been a component of my return … I just had the impression that people really liked this character and for her to be bad, would destroy people. So that was one of the reasons why I did not go back.”

It is for the best that Benson has not returned since, as she says, It is better that fans remember that Tara. But it would have been a cool return to see Jesse again – even if we only knew him for a few episodes to start.
