It’s a difficult game, isn’t it – Michael Atherton
Speaking during the lunch break on day 4, the former captain of the national cricket team from England Michael Atherton said that England had completely disintegrated India.
“It’s a difficult game, isn’t it. [Former Australia captain Steve Waugh] Used the term “mental disintegration”, which concerns what we have just seen, “said Michael Atherton on Sky Sports.
“You keep a team on the ground for 150-160 overs, this is how you disintegrate a team. Openers must go out more than 300 behind – there is probably no more difficult situation in the test cricket – and it is therefore not really surprising that these first two counters took place. It is far from it.
“Jaiswal really had a funny old series, a few ups but also a few stockings. And with Sudharsan, India has a problem at No. 3 because they do not seem to settle on someone there.”
