Bruce Springsteen has thought about how the next biopic LIT ME DE NOLLY depicts his battle against depression.

In a Time100 Cover Story published on Thursday, September 25, “The Boss” thought about how the film – which details a brief period at the start of the thirties when he lived his first serious depression fight – could have been represented in various ways.

“It could have been in many different directions,” said Springsteen, 76.

“When I got out of Born in the United StatesI had been in two years of analysis because I had a fairly good distribution at the age of 32, “he said.

Springsteen added: “And my family was filled with mental illness, my aunts, my uncles, my pop, and it was just in our blood, so I had to face it,” continued Springsteen.

He then noted how Landau had some experience of mental health difficulties “and ordered me to get help, which I did.”

In 2016 Vanity Cover, Springsteen also talked about his battle against depression.

He said that performance has become “the most faithful form of self-medication” and revealed that he had asked for help thanks to therapy and antidepressants.

Springsteen has also thought about ups and stockings with depression and worrying about how it could reflect his father’s experience with mental illness.

“You do not know the parameters of the disease. Can I fall sick enough where I become much more like my father than I thought? ” he said at the exit.
