Browns’ Grant Delpit says “not difficult” to tackle Derrick Henry

Almost a year after hitting Derrick Henry on the ground with great success, the Cleveland Browns Grant Delpit delivered another blow to Baltimore Star Ravens.

And Henry took note.

Asked Thursday how hard Henry is to bring down the 6 -foot 3 inch and 252 pounds Henry, Delpit quickly replied: “not hard”.

Henry responded to Delpit later Thursday afternoon, saying he was aware of Delpit’s comment.

“He had a quote,” said Henry. “We will see on Sunday.”

Delpit hammered Henry last October with a hard blow on the side while the Browns Denzel Ward corner half down. Delpit punctuated the tackle with the “too small” celebration.

Henry took a good start this season with 169 yards on the ground at the opening of the Baltimore season, which was most in the NFL of week 1. But the Browns were successful against him, holding Henry less than 75 yards on the ground in two of the three clashes since Jim Schwartz became the defensive coordinator of Cleveland in 2022.

Delpit is not the only browns player to have participated in trash speeches this week.

Cleveland, Jerry Jeudy’s recipient, was disdainful from a secondary school secondary who included five recovery choices in the first round and leaves a match in which Baltimore granted 394 yards in the quarter-back of Bills Josh Allen.

When asked Wednesday what challenges of the Ravens secondary, Jeudy said: “No challenges”.

In three career games against Baltimore, Jeudy totaled 15 catches for 207 yards and no touched.

Ravens safety, Kyle Hamilton, said he didn’t care what Jeudy said.

“This is the thing with the Babillard equipment that I never understood,” said Hamilton. “I wasn’t going to play hard before I said that? If you need Babillard equipment to go and play … It’s a problem with you.”
