Your Fresh Market brand broccoli florets are being recalled in Canada due to Salmonella contamination. The recall was triggered when testing by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency revealed the contamination.
The recalled broccoli florets were distributed in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island and Quebec.
Consumers can identify the recalled product by looking for the following information on the 907 gram plastic bag label: UPC number 6 27735 27054 8, BBD code number 2025-NO-26 and lot number 25318.
About Salmonella Infections
Foods contaminated with Salmonella bacteria generally do not look, smell, or taste spoiled. Anyone can get a Salmonella infection.
