Broadcom is expected to report fourth-quarter results after the market closes Thursday.
Here’s what analysts expect, according to LSEG:
- Earnings per share: $1.86, adjusted
- Income: $17.49 billion
Wall Street expects Broadcom’s overall revenue to rise 25% in the quarter ended October, up from $14.05 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expect the chipmaker to achieve $1.95 in adjusted earnings per share on revenue of $18.27 billion in the current quarter.
The report comes as investors increasingly view Broadcom as well-positioned to capitalize on the AI infrastructure boom, both with its custom chips, which it calls XPU, and with the networking technology needed to build enormous data centers where thousands of AI chips operate as one.
Broadcom stock has hit all-time highs and is up 75% so far in 2025 thanks to its custom chips, such as Google tensor processing units, are increasingly considered as rivals of from Nvidia AI chips. The company has a market capitalization of $1.91 trillion.
Google released its latest AI model, Gemini 3, during the quarter, which it said was fully trained on its TPU chips.
Another Broadcom AI client is OpenAI. The AI startup announced in October that it would begin rolling out custom AI chips developed with Broadcom starting next year.
Broadcom CEO Hock Tan is expected to discuss the company’s AI chip portfolio and partnerships with investors on Thursday.
“We expect investors to focus on FY26 AI revenue guidance, revenue contributions from Google and OpenAI, and gross margin trajectory given the strong surge in custom XPUs,” James Schneider, an analyst at Goldman Sachs, wrote in a note last month. It has the equivalent of a buy rating on the stock.
