Broadcast rankings for October 13-19, 2025

With the advertising machine behind Stranger Things beginning to gain momentum ahead of the final season, the series re-entered the Nielsen streaming charts in mid-October.
The series ranked eighth among streaming original shows for the week of October 13-19, recording 393 million minutes watched for the four seasons currently available. This week saw the reveal of broadcast times for the first batch of episodes from the final season and a Time cover story which marked the start of advance press for the series. Stranger Things had not been on the Nielsen charts since late June, when it was on the rankings for four weeks after Netflix announced the release schedule for season five.
Monster: The Ed Gein Story held the top spot overall for a third straight week, even though its 979 million listening minutes represented a 58% week-over-week decline. The old BBC/PBS series Poldarkwhich joined the Netflix catalog a week earlier, rose to second place overall with 954 million minutes. Aidan Turner, who starred in Poldarkalso plays a key role in the third season of The diplomatwhich premiered on October 16 and ranked fourth for the week with 911 million minutes.
Netflix’s coming-of-age drama Boots (798 million minutes) saw substantial growth in its second week, an 84 percent improvement over the previous seven days. The streamer’s true crime documentary The perfect neighbor also logged 798 million minutes watched, putting it at the top of the movie rankings and (at least for this week) moving Demon Hunters KPop from first place.
Nielsen’s streaming ratings only cover viewing on televisions and do not include minutes watched on computers or mobile devices. Ratings only measures U.S. audiences, not other countries. The best titles streaming for October 13-19, 2025 are below.
