Any concern concerning the brewers of Milwaukee, leader of the major leagues, losing three consecutive games for the first time since May 7 to 10 is clearly not shared by Christian Yelich.
The veteran Slugger and the visiting brewers will try to end the slip in the final of a series of five games against the Chicago Cubs on Thursday.
Chicago emerged with a 4-3 victory on Wednesday after Daniel Palencia blocked the base loaded in the ninth round for his 18th judgment.
The third basic player of the Cubs, Matt Shaw, made a stellar defensive game in sixth round and hit a solo circuit in the eighth to bring the local crowd to his feet.
“It was incredible,” said Shaw. “I mean, it may be the strongest I have ever seen this place. The fans were released and we played a very good ball game.”
The Cubs have won five of their last six to reduce the Brewers advance at the national league summit in the six -game center.
Meanwhile, Milwaukee has lost four of his last five times since he won 14 consecutive games, a franchise record in a single season.
“If everyone thought we were going to be undefeated the rest of the season, then you don’t watch baseball,” said Yelich. “It’s part of a baseball season. Things don’t go all the time. This team is fine. We are very resilient. We are not satisfied that we have lost (Wednesday), but overall, we are quite satisfied with the way we have contributed.”
Brice Turang succeeded in the defeat of the Brewers, who went 2 for 7 with runners in the score position.
“We did not obtain the result we wanted, but we showed a huge heart and a huge inlasia,” said Milwaukee manager Pat Murphy. “They had sure, they made each defensive game, and it’s just baseball.”
Milwaukee will send the right-hander Quinn Prayer (11-2, 3.48 ERA) to the mound in the final of the series against the left-hander of Chicago Shota Imanaga (8-5, 3.06).
Prayer, 24, granted two points in 5 1/3 innings in the event of non-decision against the Reds of Cincinnati on Saturday.

Imanaga, 31, made another strong outing on Saturday, abandoning a point in seven -rounds in a decision without a decision against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Imanaga posted an MPM of 2.25 in three departures this month covering 20 rounds. He withdrew 22 years and walked only two above this section.
William Contreras is 3 for 7 with two circuits against Imanaga, which is 1-2 with a 7.20 MPM in three career starts against Milwaukee. Imanaga lost against the Brewers on May 4, when he granted two points in 5 2/3 rounds. He set his left hamstrings in this competition and landed on the injured list for almost two months.
Imanaga won a victory in Milwaukee on July 30, when he attracted eight in five three -point ball rounds.
Cubs manager, Craig Counsell, rested in difficulty, the right -wing defender, Kyle Tucker, for each of the last three games. After Wednesday’s competition, Counsell confirmed a report that Tucker was diagnosed in June with a hair fracture on the right.
“He was painful for a while but was able to play,” said Counsell. “He had more imaging, and it showed a small fracture that healed.”
