Ringo Starr gave the director Sam Mendes many notes for the Beatles Biopic

The drummer of the Beatles Ringo Starr lends some notes for the biopic of Sam Mendes on the musician.
According to a new interview with the New York Times, Starr and Mendes spent “two days” to review the script “Line by Line” and Starr “offered extensive notes” in order to make the film more precise for his life and his personal experiences.
“He had a writer – a very good writer, a great reputation, and he wrote it big, but that had nothing to do with Maureen [his first wife] And me, “Starr told the publication.” This is not how we were. I would say: “We would never do that.” »»
However, after reviewing the revisions, Starr felt contained in the script. “He will do what he will do,” he said, before adding, “and I will send him peace and love.”
There are four biopics on each member of the Beatles manufactured by Sony. Barry Keoghan represents Starr. Keoghan shared his experience of being nervous while meeting the Beatles icon on Jimmy Kimmel Live! “It was in a way one of those moments when you are in admiration and you are just frozen”, the Salinburn actor recalled.
“When I spoke to him, I couldn’t watch him. I was nervous, as right now. He said,” You can look at me “, and again – you play Ringo Starr,” Keoghan said. “My job is to observe and adopt a kind of ways and to study, but I want to humanize it and bring it feelings, not just imitating it in a way.”
He added that the two “sat in the garden, chatting” and that Starr was “absolutely charming”.
Paul Mescal will featured Paul McCartney; Harris Dickinson as John Lennon; And Joseph Quinn like George Harrison. The four biopics should open theaters in April 2028.
