Brentford 1 – 1 Aston Villa

Brentford progressed in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with the kind authorization of a 4-2 shooting victory on Aston Villa, after a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes.
Hakon Valdimarsson – who had gifted the opener at Harvey Elliott just before the break, ending the 509 -minute villa race without a competition goal – was the hero for Keith Andrews men, producing two brilliant stops to refuse John McGinn and Matty Cash.
Mikkel Damsgaard rose in the fourth bee penalty to send them to the next stage of the competition for the fourth time in six seasons.
Brentford had to soak up many early pressures from their opponents who, after shooting a white man in their first four first League games, began to become desperate for a goal. But, above all, they had a hard time creating anything from a note in attack, while fans of the house taunt their sterile fate.
Andrews’ side got closer when Sepp van den Berg’s free header was brilliantly overthrown by Marco Bizot, while Dango Ouattara raised pulses with some encouraging races in the right side.
But it was villa that broke the dead end just before the break. McGinn won the ball at the top while the hosts were surprised playing back and fed Elliott, whose shot crossed Valdimarsson’s hands, through his legs and at the back of the net.
The race without scoring a competitive objective, which extended until May 16, when Boubacar Kamara scored against Tottenham, was finished.
Beginner Jadon Sancho – who joined Man Utd on the day of the deadline – struck the outside of the position at the start of the second half, just before Brentford launched himself breathtaking.
Their late equalizer against Chelsea on Saturday came from a long throw, just like their equalizer in this match. The head of Pau Torres from the delivery of Frank Onyaka has dropped well for Aaron Hickey, who struck a sweet volley for the first time in the Upper Gauche corner.
None of the two parties can force a winner, the match went directly to the penalties. The shooting started in nightmarish fashion for visitors, while Valdimarsson plunged to his right to prevent McGinn’s efforts.
Each of the following four penalties hit the back of the net, but Brentford got closer to the victory when the Icelandic goalkeeper produced another solid stop to push cash’s efforts around the post – and they finished it shortly after Damsgaard remained cool pressure to return the decisive kick to the house.
