Brent Burns had an assist in the Avalanche’s 4-1 win over the Islanders on Sunday night.

Burns continues his momentum in the offensive zone, collecting points in six of his last nine games (one goal, five assists) for the Avalanche. The 40-year-old continues to turn things around after a disappointing start to the season in the offensive zone on a productive Colorado squad, posting 10 points (one goal, nine assists) in 19 games so far this season.
