Brandon Clarke of Grizzlies for knee procedure

Memphis Grizzlies Forward / Center Brandon Clarke will undergo an arthroscopic procedure to approach the knee synovitis and should be reassessed in six weeks, ESPN reported on Friday.
The Grizzlies announced on Friday that Clarke was completely healed from a high -quality right -wing PCL sprain which was suffered on March 19, an injury that made him miss the rest of the season.
Grizzlies did not stop on Friday. They announced that the double star Jaren Jackson Jr. should be sidelined up to four to six weeks more with an injury to the toes, and the Zach Edey center will be out of six to nine weeks while it recovers from its left ankle surgery on June 7.
Clarke, 29, has an average of 8.3 points and 5.1 rebounds while firing 62.1% on the field in 64 games (18 departures) last season.
He has an average of 10.2 points for his career with 5.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 20.8 minutes in 307 regular season games (48 departures) partly six seasons with Memphis.
Oklahoma City Thunder has selected Clarke 21st in the 2019 NBA draft classification and exchanged it the same summer. He was elected to the first NBA All-Rookie team this season.
Jackson, 26, was the defensive player of the NBA year for the 2022-23 season. He was an All-Star that season and again in 2024-25.
Jackson collected an average of 22.2 points per game last season, slightly behind the 22.5 career record that he set up a season earlier. It has an average of 18.5 points in 407 games (398 departures) in seven seasons in Memphis.
Jackson also has a career medium -sized rebounds, 1.9 blocked shots, 1.5 assists and 1.0 interceptions per game.
The 7 -foot 4 -inch Edey, 23, turned out to be a pivotal presence as a recruit for grizzly greeks last season, with an average of 9.2 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks on only 21.5 minutes per game. He started 55 of his 66 games.
