BRAND NEW DAY trailer leaks online; Includes Sadie Sink, The Punisher, [SPOILER]and more

UPDATE: We have now confirmed that the leaked trailer is real. Sony Pictures has begun removing videos and audio recordings shared on social media, and there are hopes that an official release is imminent.

The first Avengers: Apocalypse The trailer was leaked online yesterday (you can see it here), but is it Spider-Man: A Whole New DayIs it the turn?

As you probably know, AI-generated counterfeits are everywhere. While they’re usually pretty easy to spot, this possible first look at the wall-crawler’s upcoming movie is undeniably compelling. And if that’s not true, maybe it’s a good time to worry about the future.

Tom Holland – we think – recounts the blurry images saying: “Hello, my name is Peter Parker. You don’t remember me, but we knew each other. Something bad was going to happen, and the only way to stop it… was to make everyone forget about me.”

He adds, “Because I’m not just Peter Parker, I’m Spider-Man. And sometimes Spider-Man has to do the hardest things, even if it breaks Peter Parker’s heart.”

Has AI really become good enough to simulate this? Later, Sadie Sink (or an awfully close approximation) can be heard warning Spidey to stay away, and again, there are none of the usual signs of AI in the world. Stranger Things the voice of the star.

As for the trailer itself, it’s hard to understand what’s going on. We see slow-motion, seemingly unfinished, comic-book-inspired snapshots recreating the cover of Incredible Fantasy #15 and showing Spider-Man charging into battle against The Hand. Those TO DO look a bit like AI-generated images, but when the quality is this bad, it’s hard to tell.

Apparently, Boomerang, Mac Gargan (in his prison uniform), and Spider-Man waking up in a web cocoon are among the moments featured in scenes not included in the video below.

Again, if it’s fake, then it’s a pretty good fake. What will tell us is whether Sony Pictures will start squashing these leaks by issuing copyright warnings. If the leaked video and audio below is available in a few hours, there’s a good chance it’s not real. It should also be noted that the Spider-Man: No Way Home the online leak is equally terrible quality in 2021!

As for a possible official release, now is a good time to start promoting a big July movie. It should be noted that we have already heard of a Spider-Man: A Whole New Day teaser playing with the next one Anaconda remake.
