Brand New Day brings an Avenger (and a villain back) to join Tom Holland

Each Spider-Man films by Tom Holland had a special Marvel Star Marvel character (as if Spider-Man was not enough to bring people to the cinema). “Homecoming” had Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), “Far from Home” had Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and “No Way Way Home” had Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and the actors of the previous Spider-Man Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield (more a slight camée by Charlie Cox as Daredevil).

The film will face the challenge of trying to match the scale of “No Way Way at home”, but it will be confronted at this border and at worst, swing like Peter Parker. It has already been confirmed that Jon Bernthal will appear as Punisher in the film, and he is sure to be (at best) a difficult ally for Spider-Man. Now the Hollywood Reporter has confirmed two other MCU characters / actors joining the film.

Mark Ruffalo will appear under the name of Bruce Banner / The Hulk in “Spider-Man: New Brand New Day. “” Ruffalo appeared for the last time as The Hulk in 2022 Disney + Series “She-Hulk: lawyer at Law”, where a blood transfusion transformed the cousin of Bruce, Jen Walters (Tatiana Maslany) into a new Hulk.

But that’s not all, because the report indicates that Michael Mando will resume his role of gangster Mac Gargan of “Spider-Man: Homecoming”. Gargan was one of the customers of Adrian Tomes’s weapons (Michael Keaton), but he was broken by Spidey during a sale and sent to prison. In the “Homecoming” post-key scene, Gargan met Tomes in prison and suggested taking revenge on Spider-Man.

Peter better looks at his back because Marvel fans know that Gargan is not a simple criminal; It is his destiny to become a super-hue called scorpion.
