Brad Pitt opens with his recovery experience.
During an appearance on “Chair expert with Dax Shepard”, the actor spoke of meeting Shepard, who is also recovering, through an anonymous meeting (AA) of the alcoholics to which they both assisted.
“I was roughly on my back, on my knees. I was really open. I was trying everything that someone threw me,” said Pitt about the first AA assistance. “It was a difficult period. I needed to restart. I had to wake up the F ** K in certain regions. ”
“You don’t come in AA because everything works fantastic,” said Shepard.
“No,” replied Pitt. “This is generally not the entry point.”
“This is not the winning club,” added Shepard. “Your hair must be on fire before saying like:” Yeah, I’m going to hang out with a bunch of guys and talk about emotions. ” “”
Pitt has already shared that he was sober after he and Angelina Jolie separated in 2016.
“I had taken things as far as I could take it, so I deleted my consumption privileges,” Pitt told New York Times in 2019.
The actor, who then plays as a racing car pilot in “F1: The Movie”, recognized in Shepard that he can be “a F ** k.
“But when I intervened S ** t, I am enough gifted to take responsibility for it and having it,” said Pitt.
“Now it’s a quest for what I can do with this and how can I correct it and make sure it will not happen again,” he added. “Be better, intensify.”
He also said he learned from the franchise of other men in his recovery group.
“It has become one thing for me, something that I impatiently expected,” said Pitt.
“F1: The Movie” made its cinema debut on June 27.
