BORN AGAIN Season 2 Return (Exclusive)

Tony Dalton’s Jack Duquesne proved to be a remarkable character in Hawk Eye and ultimately it wasn’t the villain Kate Bishop initially suspected. Wielding a sword, he even helped out during the series’ final battle between the heroes and the Tracksuit Mafia.

Better known as Swordsman in the comics, Jack returns in Daredevil: Born Again. There we learned that he was acting as a vigilante, which brought him into Mayor Wilson Fisk’s crosshairs. The last time we saw Jack, he was one of the people locked in the Kingpin’s secret underground prison.

Earlier this week, we had the chance to sit down with Dalton, who many of you know best for his terrifying portrayal of Lalo Salamanca in You better call Saulto discuss his role in the new action thriller House trap. It hits theaters November 14.

We asked him if he was back as a swordsman in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, and not only did Dalton confirm that he would be, but the actor also teased action-packed scenes for the character.

“Actually, when you asked me about [Trap House’s] action sequences, that’s exactly what I was thinking of in my head. I did a bunch of action stuff for the next Daredevil movie coming out, and man, was I hurt. I was very hurt”, Dalton says in the video above. “I think I must have broken a rib or something because for two or three weeks I was in bed. I had bruises all over me.”

“It was tough, man. These guys are going hard. The action sequences on these, they’re like, ‘We’re right in your face, so it’s you, you jump up there, you hit this guy, and he hits you in the face with a tube.’ It’s like, “Okay, let’s go!” » [Laughs]” he continued. “It’s going to come out and it’s going to be a lot of fun. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”

To get Dalton away from Daredevil: Born Again Hurt from season 2, he must have seen a lot of action in his scenes. Hopefully, that means Swordsman will finally suit up, potentially as he teams up with the Man Without Fear to help take down Fisk.
