Santa Barbara is decorated for the summer with a new partnership with Luxury Event and Beach Rental Service, Bliss Beach.
Known for having organized parties by the sea and living room pop-ups on the sand, Bliss Beach has teamed up with the city of Santa Barbara for “The Barbara”, a day club of European inspiration located along the banks of East Beach. Nicknamed a “good beach club for the American Riviera”, the Barbara opened its doors to the public in May, with dates that take place at the end of October.
Bliss Beach has long been known for his configurations worthy of Instagram for intimate rallies and major parties, offering everything, private huts with complete brunch or dinner configurations on the sand. While the company has places dedicated to Manhattan Beach, Santa Monica and Malibu, among others, the Barbara extends the offers of Bliss Beach to a new location right next to the Historical Pavilion of Cabrillo.
As with their other locations, guests will be able to choose from a variety of configurations, chairs and parasols, with complete awnings with trays, tables and even coolers and games. The price starts at $ 20 / hour for a “set of clubs”, which includes two chairs, an umbrella, an extra table with flowers, a cooler, two cups and two towels. An “anacapa cabin”, designed for up to 30 people, costs $ 375 / hour and includes a row of club chairs, lounge chairs, a carpet, pillows on the ground and more. Bliss Beach says that the Santa Barbara can also accommodate parties and private events for a maximum of 40 people. Happiness beach
While customers are free to bring their own food and drink, La Barbara also offers a daries shop entirely equipped with staff, with snacks, drinks, sun screen and other accessories of the day of the beach. Bliss Beach can also respond to your event, with cold cuts, vegetable trays and other light bites available in pre-order. The other services include a common show, dining rooms and a children’s playground.
Like any other beach club, La Barbara offers attendants to help set up your space, with a dedicated reception that works like a mini concierge on the sand. All the services of the beach attendants are complementary to each configuration.
Happiness beach
Bliss Beach says that the Barbara was designed to “embody the beauty, charm and mind of Santa Barbara”, offering customers an “easy, beautiful and comfortable way to enjoy the beach”.

Barbara reservations are available now on Thebarbara.co. The Beach Club is open to the public without any required subscription. Although the meetings are available, reservations are encouraged, especially on busy weekends or for large groups. The Barbara is open every day from 11 a.m. to sunset.
