“(Damar Hamlin) had a pec issue in practice,” McDermott said of Hamlin’s injury.
McDermott said they weighed Sanders’ options and decided to place him on IR.
“We evaluated the options and saw what one day at a time could do to improve his situation,” McDermott said. “It didn’t seem like the situation was getting better, so we decided to have him operated on and put on IR.”
When asked if Sanders or Hamlin’s injuries were season-ending, McDermott said he wasn’t sure yet.
“I really don’t know anything about any of them,” McDermott said. “(I) feel a little better about TJ (Sanders). Damar (Hamlin) is up in the air at this point.”
Milan did not train this week. The LB further aggravated his pectoral injury during last week’s game against the Patriots.
