Why we like the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K
There are so many reasons to love the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K, but I think the ease of setup trumps them all. You would think that any device capable of transforming your TV in such a significant way would require a lot of steps, settings, and stress. But really, you just plug it in and go. The TV stick is plugged into the HDMI port on your TV, then a cable is plugged into a wall outlet. And that’s it. No, really. Simply turn on your TV with the remote that comes with the box and you’re ready to start streaming.
The box also comes with everything you will need: the TV stick, an extension cord for the TV stick (ideal if your TV is wall-mounted), a socket to power it, a remote control and batteries for the remote control. As soon as your Amazon driver delivers the package, you have everything you need.

The 4K model also differs from previous Fire TV Stick variants, with this one being specifically aimed at 4K-enabled TVs. You’ll be able to watch all your favorite shows and movies in 4K Ultra HD with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and immersive Dolby Atmos audio.

It also comes with Alexa, as you would expect from an Amazon device. Press the blue Alexa button on the remote to search for movies, shows, or to find out the name of that actor. And if you have compatible smart devices, you can use the remote to dim the lights, check the cameras, or adjust other gadgets without leaving the couch. Some will say it’s lazy, we call it effective.
Black Friday deal we hope to see on Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K
The Fire Stick 4K is regularly $29.99 compared to $49.99. However, if you want to save as much as possible, we hope Black Friday can beat this deal. During October’s Prime Day, this model dropped to $24.99, an additional savings of $5. It was also its lowest price ever – essentially a bargain. We won’t be satisfied unless this record level is at least matched on Black Friday.
