Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a thief who they say got a kick out of seeing a middle-aged woman he tied up in her Brooklyn home earlier this week.
The 43-year-old victim told police she was sleeping at her residence near Piling Street and Evergreen Avenue in Bushwick when the burglar slipped inside through a kitchen window around 3:40 a.m. Monday.
The intruder placed a pillow over the woman’s head, then tied her wrists after subduing her, police said.
He then unzipped his pants and masturbated, police said.
Once he finished satisfying himself, the suspect grabbed the victim’s cell phone and looked at it from his bedroom before running away, police said.
New surveillance footage of the suspect released Thursday shows the suspect riding the New York City subway wearing a white Puma baseball cap, a black sweatshirt and dark-colored pants.
