Bills signs db sam franklin jr. to the active list, signs a veteran to the training team and make two other movements of alignment

The Bills made a series of trips before Thursday’s practice:

Movement of the Active List: DB Sam Franklin Jr. and Dt Dewayne Carter

Buffalo announced that he had signed the defensive contributor and the contributor to the Sam Franklin Jr. special teams to the 53 -year -old active list. The Bills initially signed Franklin Jr. to the training team on August 27 after passing the offseason and the training camp with the Broncos.

“It is security by position, but he made his name in special teams in this league,” said Beane after Franklin Jr. initially joined the team. “An out -of -competition artilleryman, a cover player.”

Franklin Jr. began his career in the NFL in 2020 as a free agent not drafted with the Carolina Panthers and has spent the last five seasons with the team.
