“The Big Bang Theory” experienced 12 successful seasons in the air, but it was not always gently for the distribution and the show team. Addressing Metro in 2021, Eddie Braun, the chief coordinator of the cascades of “The Big Bang Theory”, revealed that the sitcom contains several scenes which could have been potentially dangerous if the actors carried out the waterfalls by themselves. That said, he was still there to make sure that no one made badly advised decisions. As he explained at the exit:
“If they were on a scooter, if they were on the road, or if it was something that experienced physically, or if there was a chance to injure themselves a little, I would double them. The writers would say:” It’s nothing “, and I would say:” It is nothing that they become something. “”
Despite Braun’s best efforts to protect the stars, injuries can still occur for various reasons, and the “Big Bang Theory” gang has known their just part on the set. However, they generally occurred outside the filming of the series.
The injuries have almost derailed the careers of Kaley Cuoco and Mayim Bialik
Although the show does not make a big problem of his absence, Kaley Cuoco is absent from two episodes of season 4 of “The Big Bang Theory”, and that is all because it was involved in a quirky horse riding accident – which allowed her to lose almost one leg. Fortunately for Cuoco, her member was not amputated, but the injury she suffered led to the creative decision to have her character, Penny, start working at the Cheesecake factory, mainly so that the creatives of the series could hide Cuoco behind a set that covered her injury.
Elsewhere, Mayim Bialik, who played Amy Farrah Fowler in Sitcom CBS, was injured in a car accident in 2012. In addition, this almost led her finger, forcing the creators of the series to find inventive ways to hide his hand until he is cured. Cuoco and Bialik situations prove that daily situations can lead to unexpected horror moments, and when you keep it in mind, it is easy to understand why Eddie Braun was reluctant to leave the members of the sitcom distribution to carry out their own waterfalls.
