Biff Poggi will be the acting coach of Michigan for the next two games while Sherrone Moore serves a suspension arising from the NCAA decision on the school recovery case.
Poggi will train Wolverines this weekend against the center of Michigan, then on September 20 at Nebraska.
Moore can train Michigan throughout this week of training, because his suspension was triggered until midnight on Saturday. Unlike the former Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh, whose great suspension of ten detainees in 2023 only did so on the sidelines during match days, Moore cannot participate in training or other activities related to the team during his real suspension.
