Leeds out of striker Bamford

Leeds left forward Patrick Bamford leave the club after seven years.

The 31-year-old scored 60 goals for the club after signing in Middlesbrough, including 17 in the Premier League during the 2020-2010 season.

Manager Daniel Farke said before the start of the season that the former English international was unlikely to appear this season after failing the championship last year.

Leeds said: “Patrick leaves Elland Road as a double champion and double promotion winner. It will always be part of our proud story.

“There has never been any doubt about Patrick’s enthusiasm to represent Leeds United and his understanding of respecting our famous club badge. He gave everything to the cause and is welcome to Elland Road, at any time. ”

As a free agent, Bamford can join a club after the deadline for transfer on Monday.
