Justin Fields excluded the Bucs while the jets turn to Tyrod Taylor

The quarter of the New York Justin Fields jets, which recalls a concussion, will not play Sunday against the Buccaneers of Tampa Bay.
First -year coach Aaron Glenn announced Wednesday that the veteran Tyrod Taylor will start under center for the jets without victory in his first road match of the season.
Glenn, who said earlier this week that jets were preparing for the possibility of starting Taylor, added on Wednesday that Fields remains in the concussion protocol.
Fields suffered the fourth quarter of the defeat of 30-10 last Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, when the back of his helmet slammed the lawn by Joey Bosa from Buffalo.
The NFL has a five -step protocol for concussion, and the player must be eliminated by an independent neurologist before returning to the action.
Taylor, 36, has 58 career starts, but he has not started a game since 2023 with the Giants of New York. He went up on the bench of the jets last season, behind Aaron Rodgers, appearing only in situations of Vadrouille.
Jets are looking to avoid their first start of 0-3 since 2021.
