Beyonce brings Texas to the DMV with a concert on July 4

Friday’s show offered fans more than music – it was a celebration of American independence and a cultural icon in one.
Landover, MD. – A sea of fans wrapped in the northwest of the stadium Friday evening for the first two night stops from Beyoncé in the DMV as part of his “Cowboy Carter Tour”.
The long -awaited tour celebrates the album “Cowboy Carter” at the top of the graphic, released in March 2024. The country’s inspired project obtained the 43 -year -old icon. According to Billboard, the tour has already reported more than $ 325 million.
Friday’s show offered fans more than music – it was a celebration of American independence and a cultural icon in one. Many spectators praised the performance of its dynamic energy and its large -scale setlist, which included songs from the Beyoncé predecessor in 2022, “Renaissance”.
“It was so much, so fun. The energy was electric and everyone sang his heart,” said Wusa9 journalist Alexis Wainwright, who attended the concert.
However, some fans expressed their frustration as for the late departure of the concert.
“Last night was a lack for me,” said Katherine, a long -standing fan of Beyoncé. “She did not go out before 9 pm, and there was neither music nor DJ to advance the crowd. The setlist felt non -synchronized with transitions. I expected that fireworks. I thought she could bring out a favorite from the hometown like Shaboozey. Everyone looked incredible, but it just let me want more. ”
Others had a different socket.
“The queen did not come to play,” said Lashonda Wilson. “The outfits, the colors, the choreography – it was a moment.”
The fans shared several protruding facts outside the night’s competition, including Beyoncé hovering on the stadium on a giant horseshoe, nodd in the roots of the children of her destiny with extracts of “Bills, Bills, Bills” and the appearances of his daughters, Blue Ivy and Rumi. Beyoncé’s mother and costume designer Tina Knowles was also spotted in the crowd.
And Beyonce will start all on Monday again, with doors that should open at 5 p.m.
Arrival at the Northwest Stadium:
Apart from music, some fans have encountered logistical headaches. Participants reported confusion around parking – some who paid specific places were invited to park anywhere. Wusa9 also confirmed that several customers with tickets for Monday have accidentally acquired an entry on Friday. The event organizers told Wusa9 that these problems had since been solved.
The fan of Beyoncé, Suzanne Struglinski, published a video on social networks showing the overwhelming number of people trying to participate in the concert at the same time on Friday. To say that it was as if “they had no idea that there would be a few thousand people here tonight”.

“I mean very clearly that Beyonce was incredible and that the fans were wonderful towards each other, but the stadium itself had no idea what they were doing,” Struglinski told Wusa9.
Another person who attended the concert described the concert in Wusa9 as “crowded but not unbearable”.
Wusa9 contacted the organizers of the event on Saturday concerning the size complaints of the crowd and awaits the answer.
