Best teams for Honkai Star Rail 3.6 Memory of Chaos

A new rotation of Honkai Star Rail’s Memory of Chaos (Forgotten Hall) fighting game mode is here in version 3.6. This iteration features enemies such as Aventurine of Stratagems, the Wonder Forest Banacademic Office Staff, Flame Reaver of the Deepest Dark, and Ichor Memosprite – Judge of Oblivion. Clearing Chaos Memory rewards you with a plethora of valuable items such as Star Jades, Credits, and Jade Feathers.

Since all enemies in Memory of Chaos have certain types that they are weak to, using team compositions that take advantage of these weaknesses can help you take down easily. This article discusses the best team compositions that you can use to complete Honkai Star Rail 3.6 Memory of Chaos.

Best team compositions that can be used in Honkai Star Rail 3.6 Memory of Chaos

Step 12: First half

The first half of Honkai Star Rail 3.6 Memory of Chaos Stage 12 features the Furiae Praetor and The Ascended in Wave 1, as well as the Flame Reaver in Wave 2. All of these enemies are weak to Ice, Lightning, and Quantum, making the following team compositions extremely viable:

1) Castorice, Evernight, Tribbie, Hyacin

A double DPS team consisting of Castorice and Evernight will help you quickly complete the first half of stage 12 in as few cycles as possible. Since the current Memory of Chaos buff increases the damage dealt by characters with Memosprites, Castorice and Evernight can deal huge damage to all enemies.

If you don’t have Evernight, it can be replaced with Remembrance Trailblazer. Likewise, Tribbie and Hyacine can be replaced by Ruan Mei and Luocha respectively. However, note that the team’s overall damage will be significantly reduced if Castorice’s premium team is not used.

2) The Herta, Anaxa, Tribbie, Hyacine

Since The Herta is an AoE Ice DPS unit that can deal damage to multiple enemies in one go, she is a good choice to clear the Furiae Praetor summon in the first wave. Anaxa has incredible synergy with The Herta and can act as both a sub-DPS and support unit in this team. Players who do not have Hyacine can instead use the Dan Heng Permansor Terrae free unit as support in this team composition.

3) Aglaea, Sunday, Robin, Huohuo

Another AoE DPS unit that can take advantage of the memosprite buffs provided in this stage is Aglaea, who can take out first wave enemies with relative ease. Sunday and Robin are his best supports, and using them in this team is essential to increase his overall damage. Make sure to focus on defeating the Flame Reaver’s summon first to minimize the damage taken from its ultimate attack.

Step 12: Second Half

The second half of Stage 12 of Honkai Star Rail 3.6 Memory of Chaos features the Dreamjolt Troupe’s Sweet Gorilla, the Dreamjolt Troupe’s Bubble Hound, and the Aurumaton Spectral Envoy in Wave 1, as well as the Ichor Memosprite – Judge of Oblivion in Wave 2. Since these enemies are weak to Physical, Fire, Imaginary, Lightning, and Ice, you can use the following team compositions to complete this half:

1) Phainon, Sunday, Cerydra and Heng Permansor Terrae

A Phainon hypercarry team with Sunday and Cerydra as supports will allow you to get through both waves quite quickly and efficiently. Focus on strengthening Phainon’s energy so he can enter his ultimate form as quickly as possible. Using a shield such as Dan Heng Permansor Terrae is the best option for this half, as enemies in both waves can be weakened if your party members are protected by shields.

2) Kafka, Black Swan, Hysilens and Heng Permansor Terrae

A DoT team including Kafka, Black Swan, and Hysilens is also a good choice to finish the second half of Honkai Star Rail 3.6 Memory of Chaos. Kafka and Hysilens have excellent synergy and can consistently trigger DoTs, with Black Swan supporting the duo. Dan Heng Permansor Terrae is the best sustain unit for this team due to its shield abilities, which can weaken both Dreamjolt Troupe’s Sweet Gorilla and Judge of Oblivion.

3) Anaxa, Sunday, Cerydra and Heng Permansor Terrae

For players with Anaxa, a team with main DPS Anaxa can also be used to clear this half of Honkai Star Rail 3.6 Memory of Chaos. Anaxa’s ability to implant weaknesses and enhance her own attacks can quickly eliminate enemies in the first wave, leaving you with plenty of cycles to defeat the Judge of Oblivion in wave 2. Sunday and Cerydra are Anaxa’s best supports, and it is recommended to use them for optimal damage. Likewise, Dan Heng Permansor Terrae is also the best hold option for this team.
