In September, Apple launched its latest smartwatch, presenting the Apple Watch Series 10 alongside a black interpretation of the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Each laptop has its own advantages and disadvantages, just like the second generation Apple Watch, but the introduction of the new Apple laptops also means more Apple Watch models on the market than ever – and many more offers to have.
But with all these options, which one should you choose? In general, you want to buy the last watch you can afford so that it continues to receive Apple software updates. The latest update, Watchos 11, was launched in September on the 6 Series and the new models, finally leaving those who still use an old 4 or 5 series behind. Fortunately, Watchos’s next iteration will continue to take care of the same devices upon arrival in the fall, even if Apple reorganizes its name agreement in order to standardize its operating system names.
That being said, taking a watch in the latest (or recent) watch guarantees that you get a smartwatch with an update design, a robust number of features and many sensors.

The Apple Watch Series 10 represents the last laptop in the flagship range of Apple. It includes the new S10 SIP chip, a faster load and a wide angle OLED screen which is brighter, larger and easier to read than that of previous models. It also weighs half that ultra, and is about 30% thinner despite its new dimensioning of 42 mm and 46 mm. The Apple Watch received a refreshment at the end of 2022. It has the same chipset as the 8 series, which is great, but with fewer sensors, no screen always on and a slightly outdated design compared to series 8, 9 and 10. These omissions could remove this from the race for some people, but it can always be exactly what you are looking for. A note on more premium models
Although all Apple Watch models and colors covered here are locked in aluminum (with the exception of Ultra 2, which has a titanium construction), Apple makes a higher range in stainless steel and titanium. These offers are functionally and aesthetically similar to their aluminum counterparts, with slightly refined colors and finishes – polished for stainless and brushed steel for titanium. However, they start at much higher prices of $ 699 and more. They too can often be on sale, but they are never reduced as low as standard basic models, so we don’t include them here.
