Ryobi HP Multiblade without 21 -inch broom

The Ryobi is the ultimate jack of all the trades, master of none of the lawn electric mowers. Although it does not stand out as the best with a particular function or category, it does not mark a metric either. The battery life, the quality of the cuts and the maneuverability are all acceptable, and the Ryobi is a multi -purpose solid for the price. You could do better, but also worse when choosing an electric mower.

Benefits:

• No locking of the wheels when the autopropulsion unhappiness
• The price of the value is competitive

Disadvantages

• The battery life has lowered considerably when you use Turbo mode for prolonged periods
• Does not include a double battery charger like some other brands
• Ergonomics for autopropulsion could be improved. Not the most comfortable

Ego power plus 21 inch select xp

The Power Ego plus 21 inch selected XP was the greatest surprise during the tests. The Ego brand is highly appreciated on the electrical equipment market, and this ego has excellent features and design elements to boast. Three different blade options are included in the box, which no other competitor offers. The height adjustment of a point is really well thought out; It is classified IPX4 for a little sealing and the phone support is a nice touch.

However, in our tests, the quality of the ego cut was simply not up to the standard established by its competitors. There was an obvious notable Mohawk effect on each collar, leaving unequal bands of grass on the edges of the cut. The ego was not alone in this regard, but many other mowers offer a high lift, boost or turbo mode to reduce this effect and provide a more uniform cut, a feature that this ego does not offer. In addition, although it is an attractive machine, the ego seems longer and wider than it really has to, affecting handling around trees and other obstacles, while offering a less uniform cut on sloping courses.

Pros::

• Three different lower blades included for different cutting options
• Excellent lever for an easy -to -change cutting position
• The adjustment and overall finish of the mower are ahead of many competitors

Disadvantages

• The quality of cut is disappointing uneven, with a lot of mohawking on the edges
• No turbo or boost fashion
• Larger than many competitors, which makes it less handy

Echo DLM-2100SP

The ECHO DLM-2100SP presents many similarities with the double blade mower Greenworks Pro 60V of 25 inch more classified, which is both good and bad. The two have excellent autopropulsion commands, as well as double battery berries and excellent autonomy.

Not as good, the Echo, like the Greenworks, has the “boring wheeler locking function when disengagement from the self-propulsion system, forcing you to wait a few seconds or manually push the mower forward to be able to reverse the direction. The largest differentiating between Echo and Greenworks is the cutting department, the greenworks offering the larger cut at 25 inches against 21 inches for the echo. Since Greenworks is $ 140 cheaper, it is difficult to recommend the echo on it. That said, the echo is the clearer appearance of both, if the looks are important to you.

Benefits:

• Create a nice stripping pattern
• Light, with good propulsion levers and speed control
• Good feedback indicators at the battery level

Disadvantages:

• The elevator with grass blade could be better, especially when it is mowed downhill
• Pont lows easily at the minimum cutting height
• The locking of the wheels during the disengagement of the self-propulsion is very boring

Green machine 62V 23 inch RWD

Green Machine is one of the least known brands tested on this list, but I would not be surprised to see this change in the years to come. The 62V 23 ”green machine has a lot to offer on a value price scale, but some key disadvantages were prevailing to rank higher on this list.

The main drawback, by far, was the lifespan of the battery. While the indicated execution of 45 minutes is theoretically achievable, the use of the self-control system decreases considerably this time. While most of the mowers tested on this list could cut my inclined, two thirds of an acre courtyard in just two or three battery cycles, the green machine required four to five cycles. With a 75 -minute battery recharge time, it has experienced a very long and tedious test.

If it is mainly used on smaller and more flat lawns, the green machine is a solid budget option to consider.

Pros::

• Good construction quality
• Attractive design
• At a competitive price

Disadvantages::

• Not as manifest as the other options in this price segment
• Not a large blade uprising, sometimes leaving the hairsut cup
• Easy change to accidentally change speed when processing the mower
• The self-ownership drains the battery quickly

Craftsman V20 20 inches

The 20 -inch Craftsman V20 was the lightest of our tested mowers, as well as the cheapest based on the PDSF. It is easy to push and offers a surprisingly long battery life for its smaller battery, which helps storage.

Although they are all excellent characteristics, it is always difficult to recommend the craftsman because of its lack of power and the lower quality of cut. Its autopropulsion system is basic, with little variable speed control, with a simple traction handle, either engaging or unraveling the system. The mower is also the least powerful of the people tested. It can manage the cut of light very well, but the high and thick grass is more than it can manage comfortably.

The V20 craftsman would be best suited to small flat sites, a bit like the green machine mentioned above. But there are better mowers that can be purchased for a little more money if you need autopropulsion. If you are looking for the light design of the craftsman and the compact size, the non -autopropulsion version – $ 120 cheaper – would probably be a better fit.

Benefits:

• Light and compact, easy to maneuver and store
• PDSF lower from one of the tested mowers
• Good battery life from 4.0h batteries

Disadvantages:

• Not very powerful, with a marginal cut quality
• Very basic autopropulsion system, with limited speed adjustment
