Bengals QB Joe Burrow (TOE) could have missed three months

The quarter of the Bengals of Cincinnati, Joe Burrow, left the victory of 31-27 on Sunday against the Jacksonville jaguars in the first half with a left toe injury which could potentially put it out for most of the 2025 season.

On Sunday evening, several reports indicated that Burrow underwent a grade 3 lawn toe which will likely require surgery. This procedure would put him away for about three months.

Burrow was seen out of the locker room by journalists sporting crutches and a boot on his left foot.

Bengal coach Zac Taylor had nothing to share after the competition.

“Nothing right now to be honest with you,” said Taylor. “We have had such a tight game that I don’t have all the information at the moment.”

Bengals (2-0) visit the Vikings of Minnesota next Sunday.

Burrow was injured with 8:36 to do in the second quarter, while pointing to his left foot. During a passing game in second position, the pocket collapsed and Burrow was trapped below.

Burrow sat on the lawn for one minute before getting up and receiving treatment in the medical tent. After five minutes in the tent, he started heading for the locker room under his own power before putting an arm on each shoulder of a medical staff.

Burrow succeeded 7 out of 13 for 76 yards and a pass of touch in the first quarter to Ja’mar Chase before leaving.

Throughout Sunday’s match, Burrow finished an NFL 68.5% of its passes for 19 190 yards and 142 affected at 46 interceptions in 71 competitions. He was appointed player of the associated year of the year in 2021 when he guided Bengals to the Super Bowl. He again received the prize last season, although the Bengals did not make the playoffs.

Jake Browning replaced Burrow and was 21 out of 32 for 241 yards, two affected and three interceptions. He also marked the winning touch on a quarter of 1 rod with 18 seconds to play to top a game of 15 games and 92 yards.

Browning, 29, started the last seven games of the 2023 season when Burrow suffered a wrist injury at the end of the season. It completed 70.4% of its passes for 1,936 yards, 12 affected and seven interceptions in nine appearances this season.

In college, Browning spent 12,296 yards, 94 affected and 34 interceptions as a four -year -old for Washington.
