BCCI, ICC concerned as Chinnaswamy Stadium again to obtain the approval of the 2025 Women’s World Cup 2025

The Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) are uncertain concerning the stadium of Mr. Chinnaswamy welcoming the 2025 ODI Women’s World Cup. According to the latest reports, the KSCA is still waiting for the approval of the State Government to organize matches on the Bengaluru website.
The 2025 CIM ODI World Cup will be played in India from September 30 to November 2. A total of eight teams will participate in the coveted title. The emblematic Mr. Chinnaswamy stadium received four games when the calendar was announced by the International Cricket Council in June.

According to a Cricbuzz report Thursday, the KSCA has not yet ensured authorization from the government government following a deadly stampede during the IPL celebrations of the RCB.
“The uncertainty is in view of the tragic Stampede in June when 11 fans died as Royal Challengers Bengaluru celebrated their success of the IPL,” said the report
“The case has been going to court since the courts, and the government of the State has not yet given the permission of the matches. The KSCA has moved the T20 Tournament of the Maharaja Cup from the city to Myuru and awaits a sign of the female world cup,” added the report.
Ksca hopes to host the World Cup matches despite delays in customs
The jostling took place during the IPL Victory of Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s parade in June, claiming 11 lives and injuring more than 50 people. After the incident, the KSCA had to move the T20 tournament of the Maharaja Cup from the Chinnaswamy stadium to Myuru.
The organizers are always optimistic about the maintenance of Bengaluru, but the continuous delays in the authorization can push the BCCI and the CPI to move games to other sites to avoid logistical problems.
“We have written to the government of the State and await an answer. It is not as if they had denied authorization,” said a KSCA official.
“If this was politics, they would not have authorized the Maharaja Cup in MySuru. So we are waiting. There is still time for that and we go step by step.”
Bengaluru is ready for the main clashes in 2025 Women’s Odi World Cup

In addition to Bengaluru, matches will be played on four other sites: Guwahati, Indore, Visakhapatnam and Colombo. These cities will provide the scene for an exciting and high intensity tournament.
India, Sri Lanka, Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Bangladesh and Pakistan will participate in the event. In total, 31 games are planned, including 28 league games, two semi-finals and the grand final on November 2.
