BBC and ECB confirm the new four -year rights agreement

The BBC has concluded a rights agreement with the Cricket Board (ECB) of England and the Wales which includes international highlights and women in England and live coverage for the next four years.
There will be protruding facts of all the international and white ball internationals through television, Iplayer and the BBC Sport website, with digital clips also included in the agreement.
The live coverage of the tournaments The Hunged Men’s and Women’s will also remain on BBC Sport every year, covering eight double-heads each season, including the opening matches and the TV and Iplayer finals.
This will see more livelihoods live projected on the BBC than before.
But there will be no live international matches – two male T20 and women have been included in the previous agreement.
Summer at home in England begins with the female series of white balls against the Antilles on May 21, before the unique male test against Zimbabwe begins the next day.
A series of white balls for women against India later follows in summer, while men play five tests against the same opponents.
The agreement extends from 2025 to 2028 and also includes the two Home Ashes series in 2027.
