Bayern Munich star Kimmich aims to dig in at Arsenal after UCL defeat

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side continued their brilliant form this season after beating Bayern Munich 3-1 in the Champions League.
Goals from Jurrien Timber, Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli guided the Gunners to one of their biggest wins this season against a team who have scored goals for fun this season.
It was Bayern Munich’s first defeat this season, against Premier League leaders Arsenal.
Despite the Gunners’ dominance and their memorable victory against the German champions, Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich believes Arsenal are not the best team he has faced this season.
The German midfielder called Paris Saint-Germain a much better team than Arsenal, which is surprising considering the French side lost to Bayern.
Joshua Kimmich aims to dig in at Arsenal
Kimmich was asked if the Premier League leaders were the best team his team has faced this season, he told TNT Sports Brasil, as reported by Metro:
“No, I don’t think so.
“I think PSG were the toughest, especially in the way they played football.
“Arsenal are completely different. They rely on set pieces. They love playing long balls, they love fighting for second balls, it was a completely different game.
“Against PSG, it’s more of a football match. Today, it wasn’t so much football, it was game management, it was more duels.
“The victory was well deserved, but we have to learn from this match.”
Bayern Munich were dominated by Arsenal

This is a surprising statement from Kimmich given that it was Bayern’s first defeat of the season after winning 17 of the 18 matches played this season.
Arsenal showed their dominance at the Emirates Stadium and dominated Bayern Munich in all departments.
Before the big Champions League clash, this match was called a meeting between two of the best teams in Europe, given their form and position.
However, Kimmich still believes PSG are better than Arsenal at the moment.
