Christian Falk reports that the duo of Arsenal Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard have been the subject of interest in Bayern Munich.
Writing in his last column for CF Bayern Insider, Falk said that contacts had taken place between Bayern and the management of Arsenal on Martinelli and Trossard.
This could be worrying for the Gunners because there will be a lot of fans who wish to see these players stay.
At the same time, however, it looks like a promising opportunity for Arsenal to collect funds thanks to the sales of the players and to help them signatures elsewhere.
Arsenal works in particular on the transfer agreement of Viktor Gyokerres, according to Fabrizio Romano on YouTube, when there is also an interest in Rodrygo du Real Madrid.
Arsenal duo at Bayern Munich?
Discussing the situation of Trossard and Martinelli, Falk said: “Leandro Trossard is a new idea. Gabriel Martinelli has been on the list for longer. Bayern was in contact with the management of the Arsenal winger, but in the meantime, the club also contacted the management of Trossard. ”
Trossard does not become younger, so perhaps the right time for the AFC to consider him decent offers before his value falls.
Martinelli, on the other hand, could perhaps move for larger costs, but the Brazilian winger is also a player who could still have a lot to offer in the years to come, even if his form in the past year has been a little below his previous high standards.
Arsenal would take a risk with the sales of Martinelli or Trossard
We already know how much Arsenal had trouble attacking last season when injuries accumulated.
No one in their current team managed to double for the league goals, so Mikel Arteta probably needs as many options as possible for next season.
Martinelli and Trossard are in no way perfect, but these are good options to have on the bench, or as a blanket for injured players.
