Trump says Musk Slams Bill on Nasa Post, Credit EV

President Donald Trump said Thursday that Elon Musk criticized his tax bill because Tesla CEO is “upset” by eliminating EV credits in the package, and his choice to lead NASA being Nixé by the Trump administration.
Trump spoke after days of musk condemning what Trump calls his “Big and Beautiful Bill” on concerns, he will match federal deficits. Musk called the bill on Tuesday, which is examined by the Senate, a “disgusting abomination”.
Musk last week left his temporary government post supervising DOGE, the Trump administration efforts to reduce federal spending and employee staff.
Musk was also the largest funder in Trump’s campaign in 2024, spending more than $ 250 million for this effort.
“You know, I always liked Elon,” Trump said on Thursday. “I prefer to make it criticize that the bill, because the bill is incredible.
“Elon is upset because we have taken the EV mandate, and you know, which was a lot of money for electric vehicles,” said Trump. “And you know, they have trouble, electric vehicles, and they want us to pay billions of dollars in grant.”
“Elon has known it from the start,” said Trump, referring to the elimination of tax credits in the bill for electric vehicles. “He knew it … a long time ago.”
Musk quickly retaliated on X, his social media site.
“Whatever,” Musk wrote.
“Keep the Reductions of EV / Solar incitement in the bill, even if no oil and gas subsidy is affected (very unfair !!), but abandon the mountain of pork disgusting in the bill,” he added.
“In the whole history of civilization, there has never been any legislation that both great and beautiful.”
