Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will be fully based on the Bangladesh government’s order on the issue of whether the Bangladesh Cricket team will tour in Pakistan in May 2025. Earlier, Bangladesh was to face Pakistan in a T20I five -game series.
Pakistan is still engaged in a war against the rivals of India, and with cross -border tension increasing between India and Pakistan, it is unlikely that it is possible to lead a series of crickets in Pakistan at the moment.

The new PCB proposal for the Bangladesh cricket card
PCB will provide a new scheduled calendar with the Bangladesh cricket card. Previously, the first T20I was scheduled for May 27 and the last match in the series was scheduled for June 5.
PCB also finalized the revised PSL 2025 calendar, with the tournament final scheduled for May 25. It will be difficult for players and the board of directors to welcome another series just after two days, followed by cross -border tensions.

The president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board media committee, Iftekhar Rahman, published his statement during the next tour of Pakistan. In which he said that the Cricket Council would fully build on the Bangladesh government.
“Once we receive official communication on dates and places [of the tour]We will transmit it to the government, the BCB is not the decision maker in this case. If government agencies and our embassy declare safe Pakistan for travel, it is only then that we will proceed, “said Iftekhar Rahman.
The Bangladesh High Commissioner in Islamabad will take care of players’ safety, and finally, they will make the final decision whether the Bangladesh team will go to Pakistan or not.
“During our previous meeting, we agreed that such a situation would be referred to foreign and home ministries. Once we have the authorization of all relevant organizations, we will finalize the visit. The security problems were more important in the past, but Pakistan has proven that it can ensure security.”
“However, given the current circumstances, we must assess whether the situation across the country is stable before sending the team.” The president of the BCB media committee added.
Bangladesh schedule before the Pakistani tour
The Bangladesh team should play two T20is against the water before the Pakistani tour later this month. They will play both the T20is in Sharjah on May 17 and 19, and after that, they will have been supposed to take a flight from Sharjah to Lahore on May 21.
Two Bangladesh players, Nahid Rana and Rise Hossain, were drafted in PSL 2025. Nahid plays for Peshawar Zalmi, while Rishad represents Lahore Qalandars but had to leave Pakistan while PSL 2025 stopped.
