“Makena was such a thoughtful person whose altruism towards others is something that I will always appreciate,” Knapp shared in a statement to People September 26. “We have shared so many unforgettable memories together and now that it is no longer with us, it is a reality that is difficult to understand.”
The 31 -year -old woman added: “She had an incredible family, great friends and her fun and outgoing energy we will all miss.”
Knapp, who began to go out with white in August 2023, also noted the difficulty of his loss while asking for space for him and his family to cry.
“It is an understatement to say how difficult this is to deal with for all those who knew Mak,” he concluded, “in particular his family and friends, who deserve intimacy and respect during this difficult period.”
