Bad weather is expected in the Midwest and the South: NPR

Oklahoma City, Tulsa and other regions of Oklahoma and Kansas run the most at risk of violent storms which should strike on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Another series of dangerous time should strike parts of the midwest on Monday and areas of the Southeast on Tuesday, while the reinstatement efforts are continuing following a deadly fulfillment of the violent time which affected several states during the weekend, which led the at least 27 deaths.

Potentially millions of people in the center and east of Oklahoma and in northwestern Arkansas are threatened with many serious thunderstorms expected on Monday, according to the National Weather Service. The agency has classified the threat level of these storms as a risk in 4 out of 5.

These storms are likely to intensify quickly on a scale and to become severe, producing strong and damaging gusts of wind, a large hail and powerful tornadoes. Oklahoma City, Tulsa and other regions of Oklahoma and Kansas should be the most at risk in the middle of the afternoon on Monday, according to forecasts from the storm prediction center.
It comes in the heels of powerful storms and tornadoes that swept the south and the midwest during the night last Friday. In Kentucky for sure, the National Weather Service estimates a tornado with winds reaching approximately 150 miles per hour destroyed several buildings. At least 19 people died with the number of deaths up after confirmation of the death of a woman, the governor of Kentucky Andy Beshear announcement. Ten people remain hospitalized due to injuries related to the storm storm, Said Beshear.

The residents are currently working to erase the debris of the buildings and collapsed houses, and try to repair the damage where they can, while preparing for the possibility of another storm.

While the violent time comes out of Oklahoma and Kansas during the night on Monday, it should move further in the East in the Mississippi valley, Ohio and Tennessee and in Kentucky on Tuesday.
West of Kentucky and Tennessee as well as northern Mississippi and Alabama, face the greatest threats for violent storms with strong precipitation, the national meteorological service said.
