John Cena plans to withdraw from the competition in the WWE ring during the main event on Saturday evening on December 13. In a recent episode of Podcast, the legendary wrestling manager Jim Cornette examined if the 48 -year -old should win or lose his last match.
Cena has been one of the largest WWE stars in the past two decades. Some people believe that the world champion of 17 times should lose his retirement match to help continue the career of a promising star. John Cena lost his last match against Brock Lesnar in Wrestlepalooza on September 20. He will face AJ Styles during his next fight at Crown Jewel on October 11.
Jim Cornette says that John Cena loses “does not make sense”
In March, John Cena became the heel for the first time in more than 20 years. He only played as bad for five months before kissing fans again as Babyface in August.
According to Jim Cornette, WWE decision -makers should take note of fans’ reactions when booking Cena’s pension match.
“This is why I had the reproach with Cena being a heel for a large part of that, it is that we said that people did not want to hate it. People wanted to see the last time, their hero whom they now love more than they did when he does not actually make sense, and now that they have obtained it by the course, it simply does not make sense [for Cena to lose retirement match]. “”
Cornette also predicted that Cena will face a WWE champion seven times in her last game before retiring.
