THE Paramora The singer met Taylor for the first time in 2011, when the artist drove in town and invited Hayley to join her one night on her Speak Now tour.
“I really didn’t know that she was covering songs of different people every evening, who has now become such a large part of her tours, as she will bring out friends who have great songs or something else,” recalls Williams in Stereogum in 2020. “But that crashed me because I didn’t really think that many children knew that it was so fun to do that.”
For a while, they both lived mainly in Nashville and started dragging “after Kanye’s big thing happened”.
“She is really a soft person and this hard musical industry has tried to chew and spit it a thousand times,” said Williams (even if she noted that she didn’t really know [Swift] that is much more “).
